From 31 August to 2 September 2026, the recycling and circular economy ecosystem of India converged at Hall 4, Bombay Exhibition Centre, Nesco, Mumbai, for the second edition of the Bharat Recycling Show — organised by Media Fusion in collaboration with Crain Communications, and co-located with the Plastics Recycling Show India. LN INDTECH Services Pvt. Ltd. was proud to be part of this three-day showcase, exhibiting at Booth B118 alongside many of the country’s leading recyclers, technology providers, and policymakers.
Why We Were There
Bharat Recycling Show has quickly established itself as India’s most influential platform for commodity recycling, bringing together stakeholders across ferrous and non-ferrous metals, e-scrap, batteries, end-of-life vehicles, and tyre recycling under one roof. For a DSIR-recognised R&D and technology company like ours, working at the intersection of hydrometallurgy, critical minerals, and resource recovery, this was exactly the kind of gathering where our work belongs.
At our booth, we showcased our capabilities and ongoing work across:
- Hydrometallurgical processing for critical mineral recovery
- Recovery of critical minerals from spent lithium-ion batteries (black mass processing and lithium recovery)
- E-waste and other secondary resource valorisation
- Processing of spent residues from industrial operations
- Rare earth element recovery
- Recovery of magnetic and semiconductor materials
These themes line up closely with the show’s own battery-recycling and critical-minerals focus areas, and it was encouraging to see how much attention the industry is now placing on hydrometallurgy and black-mass processing as India builds out its domestic battery and e-waste recycling capacity.
A Seat at the Conference Table
We were especially pleased that Dr. Subash Chandra Mallick, Founder & Managing Director of LN INDTECH, was invited as a speaker at the accompanying Bharat Recycling Show conference — joining a distinguished line-up of voices from across the recycling, metals, and critical minerals space, including representatives from CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory, JNARDDC, McKinsey & Company, and several of India’s leading battery and e-waste recyclers. His participation gave us a platform to contribute to the broader industry dialogue on building indigenous technology for critical minerals recovery.
What We Took Away
Three days on the show floor and in the conference halls reaffirmed a few things for us:
- The demand for domestic hydrometallurgical capability is real and growing — particularly for lithium-ion battery black mass and e-waste streams, where India currently depends heavily on imported technology and processing capacity.
- Cross-sector conversations matter. Meeting recyclers, OEMs, pollution control boards, and policymakers in one venue surfaced practical questions — feedstock availability, regulatory alignment, and scale-up economics — that sharpen how we think about deploying our technologies.
- Partnerships will define this decade of recycling in India. The event’s emphasis on connecting recyclers, manufacturers, and technology providers reflected exactly the kind of collaborative approach LN INDTECH is built around.
Looking Ahead
Our participation in Bharat Recycling Show 2026 reflects LN INDTECH’s continued commitment to positioning India’s R&D talent at the centre of the global critical minerals and battery recycling conversation. We came away with new connections, sharper insights into industry needs, and renewed motivation to keep building technologies that turn waste streams into strategic resources.
