MOLTEN SALT ELECTROLYSIS

The molten salt high-temperature process refers to a category of metallurgical and chemical processes that use molten salts as a medium to carry out reactions at elevated temperatures. Molten salts are used because they can dissolve metal oxides and provide an efficient way to transfer heat and electrical energy in high-temperature environments. These processes are essential for extracting, refining, and recycling various metals, as well as for producing materials with specific properties.
